Key responsibilities:
• Create, manage and motivate a successful team comprised mainly of business development managers, and CDM technical staff to undertake EcoSecurities business in the area
• Proactively manage the Indian office
• Develop and implement the CDM Indian market business development strategies in line with EcoSecurities business model and approach
• Key success factors will be in identifying, negotiating, closing and driving forward the CDM opportunities in India for EcoSecurities
Essential:
• Senior Management experience with proven track record
• A strong people manager who leads by example and who easily gains the respect and cooperation of his/her team
• A very strong business background
• Extensive network in the Indian market
• University degree, Master degree preferably
• Good knowledge and approach of project management
• Ideally the candidate would have start-up experience and though this is not essential the candidate must have the required state of mind and be ready for such a venture
• Proven experience in managing teams (building, motivating, leading, monitoring and supporting teams)
• Motivated to actively drive forward your personal development in the CDM market
Skills required:
• High proficiency in English
• Indian local languages skills a plus
• Strong leadership skills and negotiation skills (proven record)
• Skills in business development: Communication, marketing, building clients relationships, developing new business opportunities and partnerships
• High computer skills
