Post graduate qualification in Management with Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience with at least 1 year of exposure to plastics
§ Should have the knowledge of procurement processes and policies, Understanding of Sourcing group management tools and techniques, Knowledge and understanding of Plastic moulding markets, Understanding of indirect tax laws, Commercial acumen
Key responsibilities include:
§ Create Sourcing strategies, agree with stakeholders, and implement it to deliver sustainable competitive advantage to the business.
§ Gather information about supply markets, analyse and evaluate the impact on Sourcing group and supplier management strategies.
§ Negotiate effectively to agree prices and other terms of contract with the vendors.
§ Own and manage supplier relationships to ensure achievement of desired performance levels.
§ Liaison with vendors and internal stakeholders for development of suppliers, new materials, and services in order to meet any new business requirements.
§ Provide ‘Intelligent’ forecast to prepare accurate plans and use budgets to manage and monitor performance.
