Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s or masters degree in nutrition related field i.e. Nutrition & Dietitics, home science, biotechnology, food technology, biology medicine or pharmacy.
Masters degree in Marketing Management from a reputed institute.
Candidates with a degree in Hotel Management from a reputed institute with an MBA degree & experience in brand management in the Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals or FMCG sector can also be considered
Experience :
2-4 years experience in brand management with a MNC or a professional Indian Company preferably in the FMCG, Foods, Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals or consumer durables sector.
Some sales experience is also desirable.
Conceptualize, develop & implement all marketing activities for the assigned product range in liaison with the Senior Marketing Manager
To coordinate with the training department in preparation of training modules, answering distributor queries.
To analyse the sales pattern for the assigned products & appraise the Associate Vice President - Marketing on any changes in demand patterns & recommend any changes in promotional plans as needed.
To coordinate with other departments & disseminate information on need basis.
To coordinate with the Marketing Communications Team on advertisements, articles & information to be carried in the in-house magazines
To coordinate with vendors for preparation of marketing inputs.
To coordinate with global marketing & manufacturing teams on all aspects of product development.
To ensure that all marketing documents & materials are properly stored & maintained.
To follow market developments & competitor activities.
To play a lead role in the PLP process & ensure faster speed to market for introduction of new products
Creative marketer, ability to bring in ideas & solutions on how to tackle obstacles in a time bound, result oriented environment.
Able to thrive under pressure with strong organizational skills & ability to prioritize.
Good interpersonal, oral & written communication & problem solving skills required.
Be extremely dynamic with high energy, initiative, enthusiasm & determination
Team player, but able to function as an entrepreneur & take initiative to move issues
Willing to put in extra hours at work as & when needed
Should possess a good knowledge of nutrition science & should understand & favour the effectiveness of vitamin/mineral supplementation
The candidate can be of either sex but in case of females, married candidates may be preferred
Computer literacy.
